Full-scale redesign for one of the main magazines in Spain, to update its style and achieve a more contemporary look. To do that, we used Dino dos Santos‘ Acta as the main font face. It shows precision, gravity and combines perfectly with Gotham, the complementary font.

Another goal was to maintain and enhance the rigorous display of information in sections such as News and Economy. In this sense, we simplified the graphic resources and reduced the use of color. To avoid monotony in the structure of the pages, we proposed a grid that allows different layouts. We also suggested a change in the graphic pace of the lifestyle section to highlight these pages. They are more visual and the image prevails over text, with Gotham as the main font face here.

The cover is another of the magazine’s strengths. Although the nameplate didn’t change, it became smaller. There are fewer words and cleaner use of photography, one of the keystones in the new style of the magazine.
